Peace King!

No comments:
Peace to all the Kings whom nurture, protect and provide for their child(ren) every single day. You’re supreme individuals.

Peace to all the Kings who are expecting and preparing for the arrival of a newborn baby. You’re loved and valued.

Peace to all the Kings whom take care of children whom aren’t biologically their own, yet still protect, provide and nurture their growth!

Peace to all the Kings whom raise their child(ren) on their own. You are amazing individuals and need to be celebrated daily.

Peace to the King in my womb. Swimming around and kicking mommy every day, reminding her how valued her life is!

You Remind Me Of My..

No comments:
I don't like to drive
I rather you take control
I would stay by your side as you take me miles and miles away from home and beautiful foes
Can we ride to the edge of the world and travel where the sunset never ends
Light and darkness will wrap around this two-seater of ours
This stealth mobile is our home
We make love in the back seat as the radio changes tune
You whip me into shape
When I sleep you rest your arm behind my head
Soothing my soul
We have travelled great states in your homeland you eagerly wait to escape

Conversations With My Mother.

My love is soo honest and true. Not everyone is worthy.

My mom looked at me and said: "What did you learn?
I replied, "My love isn't simple. It isn't for anyone to understand but myself."

I went on to say, "If a man pushes my love away for another. He is not worthy of my compassion. Yet deserving of my silence."

Floetic Vibes

No comments:
For those who don't know or are unfamiliar with my story.
Floetry made me love and appreciate poetry accompanied with singing.

I remember it like it was yesterday.
It was raining
The windows were foggy and I was in grade 7
Waiting
For my sister to come back from her overnight school trip
My mom popped in a CD
I was half asleep and I didn't know what was going on
 Nor did I care.
I heard an instrumental that was adorned with sensual moans
Panting voices
The first time I heard, "Floetic" by Floetry
I felt something I've never experienced before that night
My body tensed up
My pupils became dilated
My canvas was then covered with a tingling embrace

----

Floetry introduced me to a different world. A world full of love, poetry and sensuality. I was too young to be experiencing what I felt that night. Floetry is the reason why I write. I thank you.
