6+5

I asked you if you would still respect me
You told me not to worry
That you would take my fears away
With every stroke of pain you caused
We lay nestled on the grass as nature witnessed this union
Planes flew over our heads

You laid your jacket down as you punctured me on a bed of flowers
I opened for you like daisies in full bloom
Your eyes pierced into mine as you removed all guilt with your fingertips

Your lips replaced pillows on this makeshift bed
My brown eyes were fixated on the blue skyline after every deep breath that was exhaled
My thoughts resembled cumulus clouds
I held on as you pulled me closer
I clenched on the grass for support
The sun went down but you continued to rise
As we lay there intertwined...
